Our House

Somewhere along the way, pet products were separated from the rest of design — plastic, bright, disposable, as if a cat's presence meant abandoning the standards you hold for everything else. We don't accept that separation. If an object is going to sit in your home every day, it should be considered, not tolerated.

We believe the spaces we build around ourselves shape how we feel inside them — the light, the materials, the quiet. Cats feel it too. A calm, considered home doesn't just look good; it's a kind of care in itself, extended to every creature living inside it.

Ondine began as a question: what would a water fountain look like if it were designed by someone who cared as much about your living room as your cat's comfort? The answer wasn't a gadget. It was a ceramic object, faucet-inspired, quiet in its presence — something that could sit on a counter and simply belong there.

Melwi isn't built around a single product. It's built around an idea: that a house for cats can be built with the same intention as a house for anyone else. Ondine is the first piece. It won't be the last.
